4. What is your cancellation policy?

We keep our services flexible while maintaining reliability:

  • 30-Day Notice Required: A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required to cancel or modify services

  • Cancellation Fee: Less than 30 days’ notice may result in a fee

  • No Refunds: All fees are non-refundable once services have been performed or billing has occurred.

This ensures we can continue delivering consistent HR and bookkeeping support to all clients.

5. How is pricing determined?

Pricing is determined based on your company’s size, the services selected, and the overall complexity of the support needed. Factors may include the number of employees, the completeness and accuracy of existing business records, whether systems and processes are already in place, or whether HR, payroll, and bookkeeping support needs to be built from the ground up.

Before final pricing is provided, HR & B Hive may complete a Pre-Onboarding Audit to better understand your current setup. This audit helps evaluate areas such as HR compliance practices, payroll setup and processes, document accuracy, record organization, and workflow efficiency.

After reviewing your business needs and audit findings, HR & B Hive provides a customized quote based on the scope of work required to support your business effectively.

6. How are payments handled?

Payments for our HR and bookkeeping services are processed monthly. Invoices are issued at the beginning of each billing cycle, and timely payment ensures uninterrupted service.

7. Can I customize my services or choose different service agreements?

Yes. HR & B Hive offers flexible HR and bookkeeping solutions for small businesses, including monthly service packages, à la carte options, custom plans, and both month-to-month and long-term service agreements depending on client needs.

This allows businesses to choose a support structure that best fits their operations while maintaining consistent, reliable service as their needs evolve.

8. Do You Support Larger Businesses or Multi-Location Teams?

Yes. While HR & B Hive primarily supports small and growing businesses, we also work with larger organizations and multi-location teams requiring scalable HR, payroll coordination, bookkeeping, and administrative support.

Because larger organizations often require customized workflows, reporting structures, onboarding processes, and compliance support, pricing for businesses with larger employee counts or more complex operational needs is provided through a custom quote based on scope of services and operational requirements.

We encourage businesses requiring larger-scale support solutions to contact us for a consultation to discuss their specific needs.

9. What Systems or Software Does HR & B Hive Use?

HR & B Hive works with a variety of business tools and platforms depending on client needs and existing workflows.

For payroll and HR management, we commonly utilize Gusto due to its user-friendly payroll, onboarding, employee management, and reporting capabilities. We may also work alongside other platforms depending on your business setup and operational requirements.

During onboarding, we review your current processes, payroll workflows, employee structure, and administrative needs to help determine the most efficient setup for your business. If implementation or account setup assistance is needed, we provide administrative support as part of the onboarding process.

10. Do you provide legal advice?

We provide HR guidance and administrative support based on best practices. However, we do not provide legal, tax, or financial advisory services. For those matters, we recommend consulting a licensed professional.
